Client & Customer Service

From front-line customer service in hospitality to client-facing analyst roles, I have built strong expertise in understanding client needs, solving problems, and communicating ideas clearly. I've delivered rapid market insights under pressure as well as more detailed valuations both to Pension Funds and Hedge Funds.

My approach to building relationships is always consistent to my values.

Modelling

I have hands-on experience in financial and asset modelling, with a particular focus on fixed income, derivatives, and multi-asset portfolios, as well as development of modelling new in-house indices with ~£2 trillion MV. On a broader level, my experience also include company valuations using DCF and comparables.

The models and spreadsheets I build focus on usability and coherent design, so the inputs and outputs can be clearly understood.

Research & Analytics

My research experience spans both professional and academic, from international relations, policy, and political risk during my studies, to UX, and financial market analyses. Some noteworthy research I've conducted are my dissertation where I examined whether Indonesia is under the influence of global neocolonialism, and a report regarding the Dutch Pension Fund reform, potential effects on the markets and investment opportunities in the short-term bond markets and long-end euro swap payers.

My research strives to be clear, concise, and actionable for the reader.

Data & Programming

I use programming languages as a tool to achieve whatever goal or vision I have in mind. In my previous roles and in my personal life, I have always self-taught to automate small manual processes in order to cut tedious repetitive work. I'm experienced in auditing datasets, rectifying 1000+ datapoints at a time, as well as retrieving and visualising data, simple ETL workflows, and now also web-development.

My resourcefulness and ability to self-teach allow me to approach coding as a problem-solving tool.
